Kevin Hart is electrifying. Stardom radiates from him like a New York billboard as he lights up the stage and annihilates his audience with his unique style of humor. Tony Rock and Wil Sylvince are two of the most hilarious comedians performing in this country today. Watch all three amazing comedians perform live, and prepare for a night of uncontrollable laughter and warmth, which is the perfect antidote to a cold winter evening.
Jean Alerte, CEO of Alerte, Carter & Associates has partnered up with comedy writer/producer Jeffrey Gurian to produce their first show together. Alerte says, "I always had a passion for entertaining groups of people. After ten years of putting on events, I decided I wanted to take my career to the next level. I've been watching Kevin Hart since "Paper Soldiers," "Death of a Dynasty," "Fool's Gold," etc. I think he's a great comedian and actor. I wanted to be the first person to bring him to Long Island to perform. Then I met comedy writer/producer Jeffrey Gurian, who has been in the business for many years and has tons of relationships in the comedy world. As soon as we met, we clicked and decided to become partners. It's a great mix. You can say Jeffrey and I made comedic history, and hopefully will continue to do so".
Having written for comedy legends such as Rodney Dangerfield, Joan Rivers, Phil Hartman, Robin Williams, Richard Belzer, and George Wallace to name just a few, plus many Friars Roasts, Jeffrey Gurian can lay claim to having his lines uttered by some of the biggest names in the entertainment world. "When I first started I didn't know one person in show business. It just proves that you can accomplish anything you set out to do if you work hard, believe in yourself and put that intention out to the Universe." Alongside producing The Kevin Hart Live show with Jean Alerte, Gurian is producing a documentary film with Chris Rock for the 35th anniversary of The Comic Strip.
A percentage of the proceeds from the ticket sales of the Kevin Hart Live Comedy Show will be donated to Haiti. Jeffrey and Jean have partnered up with Haitian nightlife impresario Unik Ernest who founded the charity Edeyo, (Help Them, in Creole), which is dedicated to educating the poor children of Haiti.
